loud snoring is a key indicator that you may have obstructive sleep apnea. Apnea is associated with heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure and irritable bowel syndrome. Suggest you talk to your doctor about getting a sleep study done to see if you do indeed have it, and then see a pulmonologist to discuss the various treatment alternatives.

  1. an elbow to the ribs

  2. Try sleeping only on your side. My husband snores but only when he sleeps on his back. If he lays on his side he doesnt. You can get a test done where you go and get monitored at night while you sleep and they test you. That could be a first step to really know what it’s about.

  3. pillow over the face always works! lol or elbow to the ribs like I do my husband to wake him up at night when he is snoring

  4. There’s a gargle that is sold by Breathe Right, it seems to work for us. All you do is swish it around before you go to bed and your good for the night. It lubricates the throat and actually quiets if not stops snoring. It is over the counter for about $9.00. The bottle has ‘30 good nights of sleep’ as they put it. I would recommend it.

  5. go get a sleep study done and see if you have sleep apena. a cpap does wonders. my husband and mom n law snored they both was perscribed a cpap machine and the house is peaceful during the night. and sleep ap can be dangerous also. so go to your doc to see what he says. and if you rover weight try to lose a few ponds that will help.
